Hostel Nights

Hostel farewell to the graduating seniors of your hostel.

Placements are an integral part of life at the Institute, one of the paramaters by which you are judged upon by the outside world.These are the most stressful, but very exciting days once you get placed. Placements start on December 1st with a total of 500 companies and a good mix of profiles: Analytics, Consult, Finance, Coding and Core. The highest package varies from 40 - 50 LPA for international roles and the average salary is 10 LPA. Approximately 80 percent of the undergraduate students who have registered will be recruited by the companies. Companies also recruit students in the prefinal year for internships and give Pre Placement Offers which sum up to 60 - 70 offers.

IT Madras encourages all types of collaborations and exchange programs with foreign universities. Study abroad programs are typically intended for UG/DD/MA/MBA/MTech students who would like to spend a semester abroad taking courses/project work. It is a great opportunity for one to travel, explore and learn.
